One dial allows complete timer control functionality. Cycles easily from set clock, set watering time, how often, how long, then run program. A rain delay is built into the run program function. A manual button allows program interruption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have used these timers in a number of applications where tapping into the sprinkler system is inconvenient or almost impossible because of existing concrete driveways, sidewalks, or other barriers. Often times there is a faucet “hose bibb” on the house that allows for connecting this type of timer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These timer work great for connections to small drip systems, garden areas, or even flower beds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In my most most recent xeriscape, the homeowner didn’t have a sprinkler system at all, but did have a hose bibb “faucet” coming out the side of the house. I was able to install a drip system and control the watering with this timer. This is a nice timer, very easy to understand and program. It takes 2 AA batteries to power it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pros – Easy to understand, easy to program. Has a manual start feature which is nice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cons – None that I’ve seen yet although you are limited to watering one circuit\/zone.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
