It is one of my favorite fertilizers. What I like about Milorganite is I don&#8217;t have to worry about how heavily I&#8217;m applying the fertilizer because it won&#8217;t burn, and it is slow release so it releases nutrients over a 10 week period. I use it on everything in my yard; trees, shrubs, perennials, and the lawn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Milorganite Analysis: 6-2-0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>6% Nitrogen<\/li><li>2% Phosphorus<\/li><li>1.2% Calcium<\/li><li>4% Iron<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Milorganite is worry-free because it contains virtually no salts, so it&nbsp;will not&nbsp;burn plants \u2013 even in the hottest temperatures and driest conditions. You don\u2019t have to water it in, it will stay in the soil ready to work when moisture comes later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Milorganite\u2019s slow-release formula provides nitrogen and other nutrients over an 8-10 week period for even growth and better root development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Milorganite contains&nbsp;85% organic matter, which&nbsp;promotes beneficial microbial activity and improves the soil\u2019s ability to grow and nurture grass and plants. Because it doesn\u2019t leach, it is ideal for sandy soils.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Milorganite\u2019s iron is exceptional at delivering a long-lasting green. Unlike iron salts in some synthetic fertilizers, Milorganite\u2019s organically complex iron won\u2019t stain concrete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It takes more than nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium to optimize plant vigor.
