Also, when I encounter yard that has too many sprinkler spray heads on a sprinkler zone I can use these rotors to retro-fit the zone, because I can nozzle these heads down to 1 gpm (gallon per minute) if I need to. That way they use less water than a typical spray head and will water a greater distance.
