Seasonal Adjust feature on a lawn sprinkler timer

The seasonal adjust feature on a lawn sprinkler timer lets you increase or decrease the run times of all sprinkler stations on the timer by a percentage from 0 to 200 percent in one step.

This feature allows you to cut back watering during cool periods of the year or increase watering during dry, hot periods of the year by simply increasing or decreasing the percentage.

The seasonal adjustment feature is calculated on the programmed time that you have already entered on the station/valve run time on the timer.

For example, if a station/valve is programmed to run for 30 minutes and you set the seasonal adjust to 50%, the same valve will run for 15 minutes. Conversely, if the station/valve is programmed to run for 30 minutes and you set the seasonal adjust to 150%, the same valve will run for 45 minutes.

To use the seasonal adjust feature:

  1. Turn the dial to “SEASONAL ADJUST%.”
  2. The display show the current seasonal adjustment percentage.
  3. Press the UP of DOWN arrow to set the percentage in 10 point increments.
  4. Turn the dial to “AUTO.” When the seasonal adjust percent is set higher or lower than 100 percent, the display on the timer shows “SEASONAL ADJ.”
